Learning Update:
You will also receive a paper report card on March 14th. .This will only contain a performance scale. Please see Fresh Grade for evidence of learning and term comments. Return the envelope with your signature to school on Friday March 15th.
Library Books:
Several students have overdue library books. Please assist your child in finding and returning their library book with their library bag by Monday each week as it is very disappointing when we go to the library and the student cannot look for a new book.
Mud, mud and more mud
As the snow begins to melt we will start to see puddles forming around the grounds at GPE. We ask students to stay away from these muddy areas but accidents do happen. Please send a full change of clothing in case of accidents. I would also appreciate if you had a conversation with your child about why it is important to stay out of the mud and water during the school day.
Volunteers Needed:
If you are able to spend 20 minutes in our classroom first thing in the morning I would love to have you play some games with a small group of students. I am also looking for a parent to lead a literacy or math station Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday from 12:15-1:00 or from 1:30-2:15.
