We are practicing counting by 1,2,5 to 20 and we are starting to learn to count by 10's to 70. We also talked about the words petit (small) , grand {big) et moyen (medium). We sorted and lined up items by size.
We read the story of Boucle D'or (Goldilocks) a few times this week too. For gym we have been going to HipHop and learning a new dance.
We also started working in our writers workshop books this week. We drew pictures of ourselves, our mom and dad and our family.
We are working on creating pictures that are detailed, are colored in rather than scribbled in, and have 5 or more colors. Those students who wanted to also wrote some words in their books about their pictures. (moi, maman, papa, famille)
